The Survey-Led Coating Contractor
National Coating Specialists exists because too much commercial coating work is sold from an office by people who will never stand on the roof. We work the other way round: survey first, evidence in writing, and a quote for only what the building needs.
What we do, in plain terms
We protect and refurbish the outside of commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings across the UK: roof coatings, exterior wall coatings, cladding spraying, cut edge corrosion treatment, render repairs, damp proofing and asbestos roof encapsulation. One contractor for the whole envelope, so the roof, the walls and the cladding get looked at together instead of being sold as three separate jobs.
How we work
The survey is the product
Every job starts with a real survey: the substrate, the failure points, the access and how the site operates day to day. We photograph what we find and put it in writing, so you can hold us to it.
Then we tell you the honest route. Sometimes that is a coating. Sometimes it is repairs first, and sometimes the responsible answer is replacement, in which case we say so and you have lost nothing but an hour.

Do you cover my area?
We survey commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings right across the UK. The areas section lists live coverage by service and city, and if your town is not listed, ask: the honest answer depends on the job, and we will tell you quickly either way.
Are you a network that subcontracts the work?
No. We are a survey-led contractor: the organisation that surveys and quotes your building is the organisation accountable for the work. We explain exactly who does what before you sign anything, and we encourage you to ask any contractor the same question.
What does the free survey involve?
A surveyor inspects the roof or walls properly, photographs the condition, and writes up what the building actually needs: coating, repair, or sometimes replacement. You get the findings in writing with an itemised quote, and there is no obligation and no pressure attached to it.
