Exterior coating specialists, UK-wide
We Coat Commercial Roofs, Walls & Cladding
Refurbish before you replace. We coat and respray roofs, walls and cladding on commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings, right across the UK. And we've seen what a bad coating job costs the owner two winters on.
We're coating specialists, not a general builder having a go at it. Every job starts with a free site survey and a written condition report.
Free site survey, no strings
Tell us about the building. We'll tell you what it actually needs.
Send us the building, the surface and whatever's gone wrong. We look at it and tell you the route that makes sense, before anyone talks money.

Coating specialists, not general builders
We coat the outside of commercial buildings for a living
We coat roofs, walls, cladding, render, gutters and brickwork. Our customers are commercial property owners, landlords, facilities managers, industrial sites and farms, the length of the UK. It's the only thing we do, which is rather the point.
Roof, wall and cladding faults feed each other, so we look at the whole envelope rather than the one elevation you rang about. And we'll tell you when coating is the wrong answer, even though replacing the sheets isn't the job we'd rather quote.

Three routes, one straight answer
Coat, repair or replace?
Most contractors only sell the one thing they fit. We survey first, then point you at the route that suits the building. Often that's coating, a far cheaper alternative to re-roofing. Sometimes it isn't, and we'll say so.
| Coat | Repair | Replace | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best when | Substrate is sound but weathered or tired | Localised damage, corrosion or failed render | The roof or cladding is beyond economic refurbishment |
| What we do | Clean, prepare and apply a specified coating system | Treat cut edges, render, masonry and details first | Advise on the right route and a reputable next step |
| Disruption | Lower, often live-site | Localised | Highest |
| Relative cost | Lowest whole-life where suitable | Variable | Highest upfront |
What a coating actually does
From rust-streaked and tired to weather-tight again
When the substrate underneath is still sound, a coating and respray brings a tired envelope back without the cost and mess of ripping it off.

How a job runs
How we run a job, start to finish
Five steps. No surprises sprung on you halfway up the scaffold.
The asbestos question
Encapsulating an asbestos roof, done by the book
On the right asbestos-cement roof, sealing the surface beats stripping it out: safer, less disruption, less of the notifiable, licensed mess that removal brings. But encapsulation isn't always the answer. If the sheets are too far gone, we'll tell you to replace them.
- Suitable asbestos-cement roof and sheet surfaces, confirmed by survey
- Encapsulation-led refurbishment where appropriate
- Considered alongside roof coating and cut edge corrosion treatment

Why us, then
It comes down to doing the job properly
We won't quote a roof we haven't walked. Every recommendation comes off a proper condition survey, every time.
If coating's the wrong call for your building, we say so on the day. No one-size-fits-all sell.
We match the coating system to your substrate and how exposed it is. It's a specified system, not a tin off the shelf.
The sort of thing we coat
Real working buildings, not show homes
From a single unit to a whole managed estate, across commercial, industrial and agricultural property.

Where we work
Coating surveys, anywhere in the UK
We survey commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings the length of the UK, from Kent, Surrey and Sussex upwards. Tell us where it is and we'll confirm we can get to you.
Before you ask
Commercial coating questions
How long does a commercial roof coating last?
It depends on the system, the substrate and how exposed the roof is. A coating that has been specified and applied properly will see a roof through many winters, but anyone who quotes a flat number before they have been up on the roof is guessing. We'll be specific about service life for your building once we have surveyed it.
Is roof coating worth it for a commercial building?
If the substrate is sound, a survey-led commercial roof coating can do what a re-roof would, with far less mess, downtime and waste. When coating is not the responsible route, we'll tell you straight.
Can you coat an asbestos roof instead of removing it?
Often, yes. Asbestos roof encapsulation can be a safer, lower-disruption route than removal for suitable asbestos-cement roofs, but only after a proper survey confirms it is appropriate.
Which areas do you cover?
We carry out commercial, industrial and agricultural coating surveys right across the UK. See areas we cover or tell us where the building is and we'll confirm.
Do you work on occupied commercial sites?
Yes, most of our work is on sites that cannot shut down. We plan around your access, your shifts and keeping everyone safe, so the building stays open while we coat it.
What is cut edge corrosion and do I need it treated?
It is rust forming at the exposed edges and laps of metal roof sheets. Left untreated it spreads. Cut edge corrosion treatment is often part of preparing a roof before coating.
Why don't you list fixed prices?
Access, substrate condition, preparation and repairs change the cost too much for a responsible fixed price without seeing the building. The free survey gives you a clear, specific quote.
How do I get started?
Request a free site survey. Send the building type, location, surface and visible issue, with photos if you have them, and we'll review it and recommend the right next step.
Right then, let's look at your building
Send us the building, the surface and what's gone wrong, with photos if you've got them. We'll look and come back with a straight route forward. No obligation, no hard sell.
