Coating advice that fits the building, not a template
The right exterior coating decision depends on what the building does. A distribution warehouse with a vast metal roof, a multi-let office with rendered elevations, a working farm with asbestos cement sheets and a managed housing estate all fail differently, get accessed differently and are budgeted differently. That is why our advice is organised by building type: commercial property, industrial buildings, agricultural buildings and landlords and facilities. Each page covers the problems that actually occur on those buildings, the coating and repair services that fit, and the honest cases where coating is not the answer.

Why we group by building type
Different buildings, different coating routes
A warehouse, a farm building, an office block and a managed housing estate all face different access, budget and disruption pressures.
Grouping by building type means the advice, the system and the programme fit how the building is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all coating.

Where we work
Sectors and buildings we coat
Survey-led coating, spraying and exterior refurbishment across commercial, industrial and agricultural property in England.
How it works
Our survey-led process
Before you choose
Worth five minutes before any contractor signs anything
Whoever you use, two of our guides apply to every building type: coating networks vs a local contractor, the 7 questions to ask, and what commercial roof coating really costs in the UK. Commercial landlords may also want the honest guide to MEES, EPC and roof coatings.
Common questions
Industries and building types
My building type is not listed. Can you still help?
Almost certainly. The four groups cover most commercial, industrial, agricultural and managed property, but the survey process is the same for anything with a roof, walls or cladding that needs protecting. Send the building details and we will tell you quickly whether it is our kind of work.
Do different building types get different coating systems?
Yes. The system follows the substrate, the exposure and how the building is used: a food factory, a livestock barn and an occupied office block have different constraints even when the roof sheet is identical. That is exactly why we survey before specifying anything.
Who do you typically work with?
Owners, facilities managers, landlords, managing agents and farmers: the people responsible for keeping a building weather-tight and presentable. Every survey is written up with photographs so it can go straight into a maintenance plan or budget approval.

A real surveyor inspects the building, photographs the condition and quotes only what it needs. Send the details and we will come back with a clear, practical route forward.
