Coatings for Vale of York farm buildings

Asbestos-cement and the rules around it
Asbestos-cement roofs are common on older agricultural buildings near Ripon. Disturbing them carries clear legal duties, so we treat them carefully. A sound asbestos-cement roof can sometimes be encapsulated, sealing the surface and extending its service life without breaking the material. A damaged one is a different matter, and the correct path is licensed removal rather than coating. We will tell you which situation you are in.
